In the case of a Gram Panchayat, it is the main body that implements the decisions of the Gram Sabha and carries out the day-to-day administration.The main components of a Panchayat are:President: He is the head of the Panchayat. History of Grama Panchayat

Although the Ittiva Grama Panchayat area had high cultural standards in the past, some areas were destroyed and turned into forests due to attacks, diseases and natural disasters. About 300 years ago, migration started again and forests were cleared and converted into agricultural lands. Although the feudal system and displacement were strong, the locals worked against it in an organized manner after the 1940s.
